A landmark achievement for the LIFT initiative in Southern Derbyshire was achieved on the 21st October with the completion of the Eden Surgery scheme.

The opening ceremony was attended by a selection of people who contributed throughout the development of the scheme and in addition the Eden Surgery invited the oldest patient on their register, Mr William Peck, photographed, to cut the ribbon and officially open the surgery.

Now that the scheme is fully operational, the surgery will be maintained by Equion Facilities Management, who will provide both planned and unplanned maintenance.
